THE BIENNIAL EXPRESS – LIMITED BUS TOUR
Follow the work of Toronto Biennial of Art artist Nirbhai (nep) Singh Sidhu across three distinct architectural, historical, and cultural sites throughout Toronto.
This dedicated bus tour experience connects Sidhu’s work featured in JOURNEY OF THE MIND at Campbell House Museum with his permanent installation 'A Deathless Potential in Remembrance by You' commissioned by the Toronto Biennial of Art at Scarborough Gurdwara, and his exhibition 'This song is dedicated to natures’ God' at Capsules Artist Resources.
Moving between a historic downtown museum and vibrant community spaces, this journey explores how art can create a space to reconnect with universal truths about the mind, revealing what connects us across different histories, cultures, and lived experiences and external labels.
Members of the without SHAPE without FORM team will be present throughout the tour to help ensure a comfortable experience and to share deeper insights into the ideas and practices that inform works.
The experience Includes
Guided bus journey linking all three sites.
A creative zine activity to support continued reflection.
An audio experience exploring the connection of lived experiences and the mind.
Time for self-guided exploration at each exhibition site.
