SPOTLIGHT TALK: NIRBHAI (NEP) SINGH SIDHU & DEEP KAUR KAILEY
Join artist Nirbhai (nep) Singh Sidhu and Deep Kaur Kailey, Artistic Director of without SHAPE without FORM, for an intimate conversation exploring the ideas and practices that shape their work.
The talk will be centered on nep’s permanent installation commissioned by the Toronto Biennial of Art (TBA), ‘A Deathless Potential in Remembrance by You’, and his work featured in TBA Parallel Project, JOURNEY OF THE MIND.
Drawing on themes of strength, focused practice, and oneness, the discussion will explore how Sikh wisdom offers a framework for rethinking identity, equality and belonging in a world shaped by division.
Together, they will explore how art can create space to reconnect with this universal truth.
