STILLNESS IN A WORLD THAT NEVER STOPS
This 45-minute panel will explore the power of stillness in a world that rarely stops.
Drawing from wide-ranging creative, spiritual and cultural perspectives, our speakers will unpack the dual nature of how experiencing stillness can lead the mind toward resilience, insight, and action.
Thinking of inward reflection as an active – rather than a passive – practice, the panel will examine their own experiences to explore personal growth, collective wellbeing and navigating complexity.
We’ll pose questions such as:
What does slowing down mean in a culture of constant motion?
How can we use a quiet mind to find clarity and mental resilience?
In what ways can inward reflection be a radical, restorative act?
The session will close with a focused session (Simran). Together, we’ll examine how different disciplines interpret stillness and how slowing down can be a powerful toolkit for contemporary life.
