Set your alarm for 1 minute

Close your eyes

Try not to take any thoughts for 1 minute

Now ask yourself ‘How many thoughts did my mind take?’ 

Chances are, the mind was distracted by thoughts in that 1 minute. 

In reality, the mind is constantly bombarded with thoughts. 

Many are negative...80% in fact according to studies. 

With practice, the aim is to repeat the word you choose with every breath. 

Eventually, the mind rather than mouth will start doing it day and night, even when you are asleep.  

But for now, try it for a few minutes and see how it makes you feel.
