This visual story has been created to help you prepare for your visit to without SHAPE without FORM HQ. It is especially useful if you are coming for the first time and would like to know what to expect before you arrive.

TICKETING AND OPENING TIMES 

Visiting without SHAPE without FORM HQ is free of charge and you do not need to book a ticket in advance.

Inside without SHAPE without FORM HQ, you’ll find two main galleries, Gallery 1 and Gallery 2, which include two learning spaces. Signage throughout the building will help you find your way between these areas.

In Gallery 1, our upcoming exhibition, REFLECTIONS – SANGAT AND THE SELF, will run from 19 September 2025 to 2 May 2026. In Gallery 2, we have Journey of the Mind.

We are open Wednesday to Saturday, from 12-6pm. 

On the first Thursday of every month, we stay open later, until 8pm. 

Please note: We will be closed 21 December 2025 – 2 January 2026. 

Weekday mornings are usually the calmest time to look around.

From Bath Road, you can see the without SHAPE without FORM HQ from the street.

BY CAR

Use SL1 4AA in your navigation system, we are located on Bath Road.  

There are designated accessible parking spaces close to the entrance, making it easier for those arriving by car. 

BY TRAIN 

The nearest train station is Slough. From the station, it is a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk to the gallery. 

BY TUBE 

The nearest tube station is Slough or Burnham Station, along the Elizabeth Line. From the station, both are a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk to the gallery. 

BY BUS 

Several local buses stop within a 1-2 minute walk of without SHAPE without FORM HQ. Routes 4, 5, 6, 7, 58 and others stop on Bath Road.  

INSIDE

Seating is available in the reception if you would like to rest before or after your visit.

There is accessibility information displayed inside the building. This board shares useful details for you to make the most of your visit. 

There is a range of artwork on display, including sculptures, paintings, films, and installations.

Look for the symbols indicating the objects that can be touched. 

You will also find QR codes around. These either link to short British Sign Language (BSL) tours or audio guides, which you can watch and listen to on your phone or tablet. 

Large-print guides are available for visitors who prefer or need bigger text. 

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building to support this. 

TOILETS

Toilets are located close to the reception. 

There is an accessible toilet available for those who need extra space. 

Each cubicle is private and includes its own sink and hand dryer. 

Please be aware that the hand dryers may be loud. 

 

SEATING

Portable stools are available near the accessibility information if you would like to carry one with you. 

You are welcome to pause and sit whenever you need.
